Information
Masha Msky (aka tootooweird) is a Berlin-based visual artist. Born into a Russian-Jewish-Greek family and shaped by a life of migration, her practice reflects a cosmopolitan identity enriched by diverse cultural influences.
Influenced by artists such as Picasso, Dix, Ernst, Dalí, Miró, and Beardsley, Masha Msky weaves together elements of surrealism, symbolism, expressionism, and fauvism. Working primarily in graphic media, she has developed a distinctive visual language that fuses immediacy with metaphor—raw, intuitive, and rich in psychological depth.
In 2025, she also co-founded A Hidden Variable — a non-commercial initiative that unites artists inspired by science and scientists engaged in artistic practice, fostering distinctive exhibitions and interdisciplinary collaborations. After the successful launch and first exhibition, she handed the project over to fellow co-founder.
Currently undergoing a period of stylistic transformation, she continues to push the boundaries of her creative practice. Her works—already part of private collections—invite not only the eye but also the mind to wander, offering immersive experiences that resonate on an emotional and intuitive level.
