Born into a Russian-Jewish-Greek family in Moscow, Masha Msky’s artistic journey has been shaped by her diverse cultural background and life experiences, spanning seven years in Jerusalem and now residing in Berlin since 2022. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Otto Dix, Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Max Ernst, Bakst, and Aubrey Beardsley, Masha has cultivated her own distinctive visual language, blending surrealism, symbolism, fauvism, and graphic ink techniques.
Under the pseudonym *tootooweird*, Masha’s work stands out for its spontaneity and depth. Each piece is created in a matter of minutes, without sketches or prior planning, resulting in raw and immediate expressions of thought. Her art is rich in visual metaphors, inviting viewers into a dialogue with abstract concepts that provoke personal reflection and subconscious associations.
